Caroline Walking
Little missy is showing off! She's been ready to walk for a while - just cruises around the living room holding on to the couches. In the last couple of days, she's been letting go and venture out into the "unknown." It's pretty sweet to see her brother and sister helping her. They fight over who she should walk to, but I'm happy to say that she prefers to walk to me!

Boise Trip part one
In the interest of keeping up with things, I'm just going to get these pictures posted.
We spent two days and two nights with our great Moscow friends who are now Boise residents. Their kids and our kids are almost all the same age, so we have lots of fun together. This is Jordan, Laurel's besty who is her birthday buddy too. Love these girlies together.
I put Caroline down next to the little baby sprinklers. She wanted none of that. She wanted to be big. So she crawled through the entire big kid sprinkler section and wore a hole through the knee on her pants. She had a great time, that girl.
This is Henry and Rebekah, his favorite girl. She calls him "Henny" and they are inseparable. He misses her already.
I've noticed on Facebook a bunch of my friends' photos of their feet. In hammocks with glasses of wine or lemonade, on the beach, at the pool, at the lake. Well, here are my summer feet. This is what I see, all the time now. If you stand still for just one second, Caroline's got you. And she gets me! I've had to make myself a moving target.
This is the best picture I could get of William and his best buddy, Brayden. Will has never made a friend like this before. They are silly boys when they are together and it's awesome. The make crazy noises and giggle. Wish we lived closer. Guess we need to move to Boise next summer!
Nothing is in chronological order today. Well, this party did come after the sprinkler park, but some other things happened in between. But I'll get to those tomorrow.
Nana, Aaron's mom, had a big ol' birthday bash planned for Henry. Trouble struck us though - she was hospitalized with an infection in her leg. We went to visit and decided that the party would go on. And it was awesome. Best darn hospital birthday party I've ever been to, complete with balloons, games, cupcakes, pizza, party hats, noisemakers and craziness. All the kids had a great time.
Nana officially goes down as the best grandma ever for putting this one on.
Superheroes were everywhere - Superman, spiderman, Iron Man.
And just to be completely random, I had to post this picture. Laurel got her hair cut before we left, and on Sunday she let me curl it. Just to smooth things out and make it flippy. I loved it, but she loved it even more.
Isn't she a gorgeous girl?

Friday Fun Day
The last day of swimming lessons is "fun day" - the kids get to go down the big slides with their teachers. This is no big deal for Laurel-bee, who is tall enough to go down on her own. But for William, James and Henry, this is huge. This is the only time they can go down these slides - on regular days, they can't even go down with Aaron and I. So super special.
This was also Henry's very first time down them (the bigger kids did them two weeks ago as well).
A great fun day. We'll be back for one more play day when we get back from our Boise trip. Can't wait for that - lots of fun, lots of family and friends. It will be great. And we were sure to get a hotel with a pool so our little fish could play.

And going down by himself! There waiting for him is Chelsie, his teacher, who has achieved rock star status as far as James is concerned. She worked with him one on one and he just loves her!

Will is my cautious one. He likes to check things out first. I'm so glad he got brave and went down the green slide, all by himself. He's pretty proud of himself for it.
