Two Months

This sweet, adorable, chubbiest of all my babies is already 2 months old! Where has the time gone.

About Henry:
  • I'm still not convinced his eyes will be blue. I'm withholding final judgment for a little longer. He does have dark, long eyelashes.
  • He weighed in at 14 pounds, 5 ounces at his last appointment. 24.5 inches long. He's a big boy!
  • He loves to smile.
  • He loves to flirt.
  • He is cooing and "talking" to us.
  • He's a great little sleeper.

We're excited to see all the grandparents next weekend for his blessing. And in spite of his very healthy appetite, he still fits into the boys' blessing outfit. Thank goodness. I don't have time to make a new one!

Sleepy Kids

Not all my sweet, sleepy kids. For this post, just the first and the last.

Henry's hands looked so cute up by his face - he always sleeps with his hands by his face. Love it.

Aaron and I had our first date night since Henry was born. Granted, Henry came along, but that's okay. We just got to hang out at our favorite pizza place in Seattle and then do some fun shopping at Williams-Sonoma - always a good way to end an evening, in my book. We came home and the kids were up watching a movie with the sitter. I don't make the sitter put them to bed - way too much trouble for her. I remember having to do that and they never listened to me.
The kids were pretty tired after we took the sitter home. Laurel asked if she could look at one book before lights out. I said okay and here's what happened:

Sweet girly, with her animals all around her. Love this girl of mine. She's just awesome.

Seriously?

Homework already:

A vocab quiz in French tomorrow morning.

My family tree, in French, to be presented in class tomorrow.

A list of ten questions about family, in French, to turn in tomorrow.

30 pages of music theory worksheets due on Monday.

A 4-page paper due on Tuesday.

Reading assignment for English class by Tuesday.

And somehow, I want to do some serious French review. Because I have forgotten a lot.

This was supposed to be a pretty easy quarter.
Nutella take me away!
